CREATE SPECIAL summer
memories for your children by
enrolling them in the Greater Van-
couver Regional District (GVRD)
new outdoor program at the
Seymour Demonstration Forest.

In Forest Foragers, a program
for 8 and 9 year olds, children can
explore the forest, lake and
Stream, find mighty Douglas Firs
and seedlings, and prune a tree.
There are two sessions to choose
from: session one, running Aug. 3,
4 and 5; and session two, running
Aug. 10, 11 and 12.

In Timber Cruisers, Aug. 10, 11
and 12, children 10 to 13 years old,
will discover how to measure the
height and age of tall trees, and
learn to play the wildlife game.

Programs run for three half-day
sessions, 9:30 a.m. to noon. Cost
