THREE NORTH Shore students are

among the 16 winners

of the B.C. School Banners competition.

About 500 entries from 140 BoC.
elementary schools were submitted
in the contest which catled for stu-
dents to produce banners depicting
themes related to Expo 860 or
transportation.

The North Vancouver winners
are Honor Sullivan from
Maplewood School and Brian Best
from Lynn Valley Elementary. The
West Vancouver winner is Jac-
quecling Lornie from Westeot
Plementary.

SKYTRAIN DISPLAY

Duplicates of the colorful ban-
ners are now hanging in SkyTrain
stations and will stay up for the
duration of Expo.

The winners were treated to a
three-day tour of Expo, July 18-
20, which included a banquet.
