The seventh annual running of the North Shore News Salling Race ts set for
Father's Day June 17.

The Course

wiil be the same as previous years from the starting line, between Dun
Garave Plier and the Committee Boat, to a red marker (leave to port) set ‘1
mile WSW off Point Atkinson Lighthouse, to the Point Grey Bell Buoy (leave
to port). to a red marker 07 miles south of the centre channel marker

(leave to starboard), to tne finish line (sail between the red marker and the
Committee Boat) off Kitsilano Yacht Club

WIH conduct the start at 10 00 am All entrants please sali close by the
Committee Boat and Identify yourself prior to the start

The Finish

After crossing the finish line. Please sam ctuse Uy Ce COrmmtttec Oc. oe
The race ends officially at 3 00 pm Any boats not across (or anywhere niu.

the finish line by that time should proceed directly to Granville tsiand Market
for moorage

AN awards will be presented at these ceremonies in Case of a prize winntng
skipper not attending an alternate winner will be chosen
