grows PREPARATIONS _= for Expo ’86 in Vancouver are being extended to new municipalities and groups on the North Shore. By MAUREEN CURTIS North Vancouver City decided Monday to expand its committee to include representatives from the District of North Vancouver, the Squamish and Burrard Indian Bands and School District 44. The extended group hence- forth will be known as the North Vancouver Expo '86 Committee. It’s purpose is to plan, co-ordinate and direct activities associated with the promotion of the North Van- couver area to Expo ’°86 visitors. . North Vancouver City has already begun preparations for the transportation and communications exposition by instigating improvements to its waterfront area.
