DONATION TOWARDS EQUIPMENT COSTS for the Emergency Department of
the new children's wing at Lions Gate Hospital was made recently by the West
Vancouver Lions Club when club director Don Blane (right) presented a cheque for
$408 to hospital administrator John Borthwick for the purchase of opthalmoscopes.
Because of the government’s three-for-one matching grant policy, the Lions Club
donation will result in the purchase of three instruments for examining eyes and ears
