Boone added Thursday that $3 million will be devor- ed to maintenance of the NO t¢ Lions Gate Bridge to ensure its “ongoing integrity.” The province has also started work along the Lions Gate corridor to gather geo- technical and long-term traf- fic information. A geotechnical study is under way near the Stanley Park causeway to supply bridge proponents with geo- logical data needed for the construction of tunnels or bridge foundations. The government also announced that planning for widening and realigning Highway 99 from Culliton Creek to Cheakamus Canyon is a_ high-priority project scheduled in the south coast region. “This year's capital and rehabilitation program for the North Shore and Sea-to- Sky Highway will create an estimated 4,700 direct-per- son weeks of construction- UY PROBLEMS peers «Read Home & Garden and you 5 could have no mow problems!
