bread houses and fun
for the whole family.

COTTAGE
45 mL (3 Tbsp.) butter or

Margarine
i packaye (250 g) marshmal-

1.5 L (6 c.) Kellogg’s Rice
Krispies
. Preheat oven
(250°F),

Melt butter in large heavy
sauce pan. Add marshmallows
and cook over low heat, stirring
constantly until blended.
Increase heat to medium, stir-
ring constandy for 3 minutes
(will be boiling). Remove from
heat. Add cereal, stirring until
well-coated. Press mixture
evenly and firmly into lighdy
greased 44 x 29 x 2 cm (17 x
11 x 3/4”) pan with greased
hands, Let stand 5 .minutes.
Use patterns and sharp knife to
cut. out 4 walls. Place pieces
about 2.5 em (1”) apart on
lightly greased, foil-lined cook-
ie. sheet. Bake at 120°C
(250°F) for 25 minutes.

pieces with side of knife. Cook
