ting younger, And Michael keeps
getting older.

This time, Demi Moore's ample
‘bosom threatens his job security.
Based on Michael Crichton's best-
seller, Tom Sanders (Michael
Douglas) is expecting his computer
company to make him V.P. for all his
hard work on a revolutionary virtual
‘reality game.

Instead he's passed over in favor
of Meredith Johnson (Demi Moore).
Net only is she his new boss, but
they had a torrid fling ten years car-
lier, (Ooh, don’t you just hate when
that happens?)

-A late night meeting gets out of
hand when she tries to fan the
embers of their romance. But let’s
face it, there's only so much tongue
lashing a happily married family ¢
man will take. Tom's sudden “attack
of morality” leaves his boss high and
dry. The next day, Tom is stunned to
learn he's accused of sexual harass-
ment. ;

He counter-sues and the stage is
set for Act Il of this half-baked cor-
porate thriller.

over the role reversal as a man finds
out what women experience daily.
But the image of Douglas whimper-

It's the audience who's trapped
and it isn’t in Paradise. It's not often
a movie uses shotguns, car chases
and unappealing dunces to stir up .
our Christmas spirit - and with good
reason.

Apparently undaunted by just
writing a lousy script, George Gallo
also directs Nicholas Cage, Dana
Carvey and Jon Lovitz as nitwit
brothers who rob a bank on Dec.’
24th only to find they can’t escape
the generosity of the town’s citizens.

Insultingly stupid, this comedy
seems to lake perverse delight in
being unfunny, Contrived and sac-
charin, Trapped in Paradise is filled
with Cage's trademurk hissing lines
through clenched teeth to show frus-
tration. I know how he feels.
