Museum. THE NORTH Shore is promising a weekend full of heritage celebrations on Sept. 16-18, presented by a num- ber of organizations including The City of North Vancouver, the North and West Vancouver Muse-ums and Archives, the Districts of North and West Vancouver and the North Shore Arts Commission. North Vancouver, @ An ongoing free event that will be open all weekend is the North Vancouver’s recently opened exhibi- tion, “Homefront: Shipbuilding and the North Vancouver Com-munity, 1939-1945." You can see this display at the North Vancouver Museum, noon-5 p.m., Sept. 16-18. i On Saturday, Sept. 17, at 10 a.m. in West Vancouver’s Museum, 680 17th St., there will be a workshop entitled “Preserving Your Mem- ories.” Learn how to care for your photographs, scrapbooks, videotapes and collectibles.
