BUSINESS BRIEFS AWARD WINNERS A FOUR-member Capilano Col- Jege team has won the best overall team performance award in the B.C. Business Students’ Competi- tion, sponsored by the Chartered Accountants of B.C. and VTECH Laser Computers Ltd. The Capilano College team consisted of Nicole Arndt, Marria Malek, Thomas Relling and Greg Zowly. They were picked from 200 graduating students from Capilano College’s business management program and were coached by instructor Graham Fane. The North Vancouver team competed against 13 other colleges from across the province. The competition was a simula- tion of a business over a six-year period. The teams were judged on their strategic management choices and day-to-day operational deci- sions.
