If the dishes are removed as each person finishes, the slower eaters are put in an awkward position, feeling that they ure keeping the others waiting and that they must hurry. My husband contends that as a fast eater, he would rather look at a clean table than his dirty dishes while he walts, We have been arguing over this for all our married life (almost 11 years) but have agreed that your word will be the final one.
