Alderman Stella Jo Dean,
City of North Vancouver,
has been selected as chairper-
son of this committee. She is
assisted by Mayor Macilyn
Baker, District of !¥orth Van-
couver, several other
alderpersons and tumerous
volunteer members from
North Vancouver businesses
and organizations. Some of
the sub-committees include,
Special Events Coordination,
Special Events (Schools),
Sports Events, Special
Decorations, Transportation,

Recreational Vehicle Coor-
dination, Industrial Tours
and Exhibits, Arts and
Crafts, Entertainment and
Publicity.

At a special public infor-
mation meeting held on
Noveniber 28, 1984, a
number of presentations and

to be held on the Capilano
River July 23-27, 1986;
World Class Skateboard
Championships, a North
Vancouver marathon run,
Grouse -Mountain Hang-
gliding :Championships,
Senior Citizen ‘‘Who’s
Who’ program and more.
