Beaches look more deserted, ice cream parlours consider closing for the sea- son, and hot dog carts fold up their wings. Food-wise, many people start to use the oven and stove inside more than the barbecue as the weather cools off. And, it's the start of the dreaded return to ftunchbox lunches. Cheer up, though.
