lions, like the colourful banners posted at-the
duMaurier International Jazz Festival or those
for the Player’s Indy Racing Team at the Molson
Indy. The company even made. signs especially
for the X-Files, until the TV series
went south.

The company does plenty of
small jobs, too.

Same goes for boat owners who
want their vessel’s name on the
stern.

Fairley wisely. woulda’t disclose any secrets
of the trade, but said it’s guite simple to make
a sign that will be noticed.-

“You have to be artistic and to know the 4:
layout, give it a bit of character. That comes
from the ofd school.”

installed in January, business has boomed, says
office administrator Roxanne Anthony.

Orion, named after proprietor Orion
Anthony, moved to East Esplanade ovo years
ago. The seven year-old company handles shire-
printing jobs for clients big and sniall.

Roxanne Anthony said the company has an

order to print 2,000 shirts for the upcoming
2 Sun Rype Jingle Bell Run.

But anyone who needs as few as a
dozen ‘shirts is equally welcome.

Orion doesn’t just. do shirts,
though. The company even prints

You can step inside Monty Usman’s shop to
see his work. Or vou could venture out to the
SilverCity movie megaples in Richmond.

That's where there are three Morris Minors
atop the marquee.

When the theatre opened last vear, Famous
Players: wanted something different. Usman’s
