WYDER - Ernest Samuel, peacefully at
tnglewood Lodge, West Vancouver,
January 16. 1992 in his 86th year. Lov-
ingly remembered by his wife Mema; his
three sons and their wives, fain and
Anita. Ranald and Norma, Bruce and
Elizabeth; his six grandchildren and two
great-grandchildren: Pat in Bermuda
and relatives in Switzerland, Germany,
United Kingdom, United States and
Australia. A memouial sevice will be
held in Highlands United Church, 3255
Edgemont Boulevard, North Vancouver
at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 25,
1992. Our father wisked for no flowers
but he was a very strong supporter of
the Alzheimer Society. The tamily also
want to secugnize the loving care of the
tmanagement and staff at Inglewood
Lodge, particularly Mrs. Lydia Stym. We
also want to thank his countless friends
who visited, phoned and wrote, and kept
his brilliant mind busy and occupied to
the end.

passed away January 18, 1992 at Lions
Gate Hospital. Predeceased by his
parents, Mary Jane and Thomas Savage;
brother Georgie; and first wife Olive. He
will be lovingly semembered by his wife
Edith; stepson Richard Smith and fiance
Tesi Sullivan; sister-in-law Isobel (Ralph)
Fitz; nieces, Shelley Fitz and Mary Jane
(Gregory) Hamilton, of North Vancouver;
sister-in-law Lois Passek of Salinas, CA;
niece Olivia (Douglas) Hatley of Aptos,
CA; nephew Jeffrey (Sandra) Passek and
Sarah Kane of Greenfield, CA: cousin
Flora McDonald of Vancouver and her
family, Marlene and Alan Gustafson and
Aleah, of Nanaimo; cousin Walter Hayton
and family of Fanny Bay, 8.C.; other
dear friends and relatives in Vancouver,
Vancouver Island, U.S. and England.
Born in Vancouver, he was employed in
the Furniture Finishing Trade for 46
years, apprenticing at age 16 as a
Freach Polisher and a Piano Tuner for
JW. Kelly an Granvitle Street. He en-
joyed music, his books and his many
friends, His Aumour stood him in good
stead, especially in his time of adversity.
By his request there will be no service.

in Will's memory to the Lions Gate Hos-
pitai Foundation, 231 East 15th Street,
North Vancouver, V7 2L7, or to St. An-
drew's United Church, 1044 St. Georges
Avenue, North Vancouver, V7L 3H6,

Dr. Paul A. Watson, Dr, A. Chan and the
Nurses an 6th Floor East for their care
and kindness to Will. He suffered long
but not alone, God in His Mercy called
