Blaze destroys Indian Arm home FIRE DESTROYED an Indian Arm area home on Saturday night. North Vancouver District, Fire Department firefighters were called to a Sunshine Falls home at 5590 Indian River Dr. just be- fore midnight. Homeowner Jean Ogilvie had discovered a fire in an upstairs room and called neighbors for help. Together they attempted to control the fire, but by the time a crew of firefighters arrived at the scene by water taxi, the house was totally engulfed in fire. Armed youths arrested CHARGES ARE pending against three I6-year-old West Van- couver youths after an eight-year-old girl had a bow and arrow aimed at her Tuesday. According to a West Vancouver Police spokesman the incident occurred at approximately 5:30 p.m. on Woodgreen Drive. One of the youths was carrying a machete. The girl reported the incident to her parents and police were called. The youths tad left a vehicle parked in the area and had gone to 2 nearby park. West Vancouver Police waited and arrested the three when they returned just after 6:30 p.m. The police seized the weapons and confiscated six grams of liquid hashish from one of the youths. Charges of assault with a wespon are pending against two of the suspects while a third faces a aaccoties possession charge.
