Group helps free the imagination

IT ALL started in 1981 with a paper fair sponsored by the
Community Arts Council of Vancouver. Today, the Imagi-
nation Market is a fun fixture for kids attending community
events held throughout Greater Vancouver and B.C.

The organization deals in
discards and makes them available
to the creatively inclined at a
nominal fee. There is a store; there
are workshops; there is a ‘‘Junque
Mail”? custom mail order option;
and now there is a book to help
people put together all of the
strange things available through
Imagination Market.
