began as a small instruction

manual metamorphised into
a fully-ilustrated 68-page
book. Besides including step
by step guides to knitting,
the book gives tips on yarn
information, sweater care
and solutions to common
knitting problems.

Tsuruda and Wagner, who
recently displayed some of
their sweaters at a Chatau-
qua festival in Chilliwack,
said they surprised by the

response. ‘‘People like the
concept and the prices,”’
says Tsuruda.

The sweaters are aimed at
women 20-45 but four
childrens designs are
available in sizes 2 to 6 and
