are among winners of the
Canadian film industry's Genie
awards, presented in Montreal
last Sunday.

Horseshoe Bay’s Tom Burstyn
was awarded a Genie for Achievement
in Cinematography for his work on the
fantasy feature Magic in the Water.

The creative team of Kelly Cole,
Dean Giammarco, Michael McGee
and Paul Sharpe of Sharpe Sound
studios in North Vancouver walked
away with a Genie Award for
Achievement in Overall Sound, also
for Magic in the Water.
