A WEST VAN-
COUVER woman was
pronounced dead on
arrival at Lions Gate
Hospital Monday after
the car she was driving
collided with a truck on
the Upper Levels
Highway.

Evi Kuusk, 39, was killed
when her car went out of
control and hit the left rear
corner of a large truck
stopped in the slow lane ot
the highway

The truck had = stopped
behind a second car that had
stalled in the slow lane after
running out of gas Kuusk
was travelling in the fast tane
when she lost control of her
cat

Police say they do not
know why the woman lost
controlof her vehicle yet
