Sector Restraint Act will

municipality. .

Besides stripping
municipal governments of
basic management powers,
section 6 of the Restraint
Act could convict” any

her liable to a $2,000 fine.

Charges could ve laid if
any council member opposes
an action “taken by the
Lieutenant Governor in
Council” - the provincial
cabinet.
