Pacific Vocational In- stitute will operate the program at its Burnaby campus, charging students $300 for the five day course. “This new training program follows up on the announcement in the provincial budget that a $200 grant will be made to any individual converting his vehicle to run on natural gas and that road tax will not apply to this clean Canadian fuel,” McGeer said. “We are now putting policies and programs in place to back up our ideas.” McGeer said the federal government has introduced a demonstration program for GILLES VILLENEUVE Memorial petition on in PQ QUEBEC (UPC) - A Quebec City radio station is cir- culating a petition urging the Quebec government to name a provincial highway after the late race car driver Gilles Villeneuve. “Our first goal is make sure that Gilles Villeneuve's name will not be forgotten,” CIJRP news director Jean- Luc Vachon said. “We're asking the government to name _ the highway which runs from Quebec City to Montreal after him.
