TEXTURE The strongest element immediately obvious in her work is the depth of texture. She creates sculptured effects by such methods as pressing a woven mat into the clay, or using a special stamp for patterning, a as well as by treating the object with different stains and glazes to bring out the texture. “If you can get a glaze to break over texture,” she says, “being thicker in some areas and thinner in others will often make the glaze change colors completely.” She often avoids glazes altogether and does staining instead (rubbing an oxide solution on and then rubbing it off) so as to catch the grooves and bring out the texture even further. sculptured ~ ‘Valls by Loretta PEGCY LEE BEAUTY CENTRE Professional and meticulous work Uf you have problem nails the solution might be sculptured acrylic nails If you already have beautiful and strong nails, come and see how a nail jewel can” refine their elegance.
