There it is shining and
glistening in the sun, you're
on your way back to your
new car with your arms full
of groceries. As you round
the corner to the driver's
side of your car your pleased
look turns into one of dismay
and anger. Someone has
bumped into your car
leaving several dents and
scratches. In shock you scan
the parking lot hoping to find
that inconsiderate so and so;
however “the search is
fruitless. Nut even a note on
the windshield is to be
found.

This incident may have
happened. or chances are,
will happen to you within the
lifetime of your vehicle. You
may call it an accident,
however. all police officers
will call that particular
incident a HIT AND RUN.
Hit and run complaints are
one of the most common
complaints received by the
local police department. In
fact there ate so many
complaints of this nature

student, whose efforts to
keep his sleek silver Porsche
924 gained national at-
tention.

“It hurt a little when I got
rid of it.” Mark Von Behren,
17, admitted. “I . really
wanted to keep it. But there
was: just no way I could
afford to.”

Mark, who works part-
time for a sporting goods

High School, won the
$18,000 sports car in Marchi
in a drawing at a Las Vegas
trade show for the GEZE ski

savings, an environmental
scientist said Thursday.

Technology'.Center told

and enabled the engineers to
