for trafficking purposes was

of marijuana they planned to

defence lawyer said his client’s
gitlfriend decided to smoke
marijuana in the vehicle.

Myers said the police con-

Madsen if he turned over the
marijuana and if there were no
other drugs in the vehicle.

As it turned out there was
a “quantity” of the rave drug
Ecstasy in a backpack in the
vehicle.

Myers said the Ecstasy and
the backpack belonged to his
client’s friend. The friend had
asked Madsen to take the back
pack to Whistler. Madsen
