Suspected thief caught

_A 30-year-old Vancouver man faces charges for
break and enter, theft and possession of stolen
property after a Jan. i2 incident in. West Vancouver.

.. The man, whose name has not been released, was a passenger
with another man who together were seen loading a TV, comput-
erand camera equipment into a 1999 Intrepid in the 2900-block
of Rosebery Street in West Vancouver. The vehicle was stolen from
Burmaby three days earlier.

. The resident of the house returned home around 2:20 a.m. to
find the thieves in her driveway. The suspects fled south on Gisby
Street.

The vehicle was spotted on the Lions Gate Bridge by West
Vancouver: Police who chased it for “five to-10 seconds,” accord-
ing ¢ to spokesman Sgr. Jim Almas.
