Turkish painters Asuman and
Atanur Dogan do just that. and
share parenting duties of their
young child Atas

The Dogan’s work will be pre-
sented by the North Vancouver
Community Arts Council in’ an
exhibition at the District of North
Vancouver municipal hall, opening
Thursday, Jan. 4 and running to
February 1. as part of the Art in
Public Places program. (The
municipal hall is located at 356
West = Queens Rd., North
Vancouves. Hours of operation are
Monday to Friday. 8:40 a.m. - 4:30
p.m.)

Both artists meved to Vancouver
three years ago and have been
showing their distinct watercolors
ever since. Asuman and Atanur met
in art school in Izmir. Turkey over a
decade ago.
