Jon't blame posties

Dear Editor:

Another letter regarding the post
office — this in a different light in
that it points out the vandalism to
post office property.

While walking my dog in Lynn
Valley recently, | noticed the green
boxes the posties use to pick up
their mail for delivery vandalized
along Kilmer Road.

Dear Editor:

I would like to call it to your at-
tention that there is a need to look
inte the time limits on the local
tennis courts.

creek ravine?

One of the boxes was actually
lying on it's side in the middle of
Kilmer Road — and it’s most for-
tunate a motorist did not hit it —

We taxpayers pay for these
boxes in ways of postal rate in-
creases, yet all we complain about
is the letter carriers. How can they
do their jobs if their green boxes

how would you explain that to
ICBC? Would you sue the post of-
fice? (Of course, we would).

If your mail is delivered late in
Lynn Valley, don’t blame the
postie — he or she probab!y has to
fetch their mail out of a relay box
20 feet down a creek bank.

Maybe the signs should be re-

painted to remind these people and :

Also it would be nice if a court &
could be reserved once a week or

so for women only — it seems men
dominate the scene and women are
falling to discouragement.
Also younger children starting
out have little chance sometimes.
Some of us do not have trans-
portation to go to courts further
