Counselling Centre
head to be honored

FRIENDS AND ASSOCIATES
will honor Dr. John Stewart of the
North Shore Counselling Centre at
a farewell dinner on Mon., June 9
at West Vancouver United Church.
Stewart is retiring as executive
director of the pastoral counselling
centre which he was called to build
and head 15 yearsago. —
The steady growth of the centre
- which was formerly known as the
West Van Institute of Living and
: Learning, was spearheaded by his
commitment, his leadership and
his counsel.’
* His contributions to North
Shore family life as counsellor and
therapist to individuals, couples
and families have been acknowl-
edged by continuing growth in the
centre’s activities.
Friends and acquaintances are
