Meanwhile in the centre of town, Steve and Shirley Robertson's off-Lonsdale lackabean Creek Hideaway is carving out a modest rep- utation as a quality luncheon bar and catering operation. Back at the Quay, hotel Patrons are getting hungry. The hotel links up with the Robertsons and the Jackabean starts stoking the Quay’s kitchens. ft is a happy marriage. But the hotel’s demands begin to occupy more and more of the Jackabean’s resources, Waterfront winds draw the Robertsons south. They close their sandwich bar and move full-time into the hotel.
