Starting today, garden trim- mings will be accepted during regular weekly pickups. In. May, North Shore resi- dents can add mixed paper, corrugated cardboard and a greater variety of plastics to curbside collection. Al Lynch, North Shore Recycling, said the initiatives are major advancements for the program. “It's the biggest thing we've done since the whole program started in 1990,” said the expan- sion of the recycling program, the North Shore’s — three municipalities will impose new restrictions on garbage collec- ton, effective May 1.
