» A FIRE in a West Vancouver residence was contained to

the home’s bedroom by firefighters while owners: were

away on the weekend. -

West Vancouver fire prevention officer Capt. Joe
Haggerty said firefighters were informed of. the fire
Sunday at 10:49 p.m. by a neighbor. When firefighters
arrived at 4458 Regency PI., fire was shooting through the
“upper betiroom’s window. Quick-reacting firefighters pre-
vented the fire from spreading but the home suffered
‘extensive smoke sane The fire is under investigation.
