DRIVE a group of seniors from the North Shore to dinner at . tiwanis Towers and back to their homes again. This group of seniors goes to dinner every Mon- day from 4 to 6 p.m. The vofun- teer is welcome to join the group for dinner or can use the free tire to catch up on shopping or other errands. CAT-LOVER needed to help trap, spay or neuter, feed and give shots to wild, abandoned cats. The hours are extremely flexible. Training and orieniation will be provided. HELP PEOPLE in a hospital or care facility by being a regular visitor and sharing your pet with them. Your pets can be dogs, cats, tabbits, iguanas, etc. Volunteers and their pets should be available for one hour per week. Training and orientation will be provided. A VOLUNTEER with people skills is needed io accompany a group to bowling, swimming and other social and recreational activ- ities. The volunteer may also use his or her persona! ideas or skills (piano-plaving, . singing, knitting, etc.) to work with a group that is mentally ill. The hours are from Monday to Saturday, } to 3 p.m. Orientation and training will both be provided. TYPE and edit for a blind man who is currently working on a novel. He needs someone to read, edit, and revise his first draft. He would also appreciate someone who will discuss the novel critica- lly with him. The volunteer should be familiar with typing on Word- Perfect 5.1 and should be good in English. The volunteer should be available for two to three haurs a week, although the hours: will be flexible. FRIENDLY, experienced choir director is needed to direct a choir of mixed seniors. The new direc- tor will work with the preséui director with a view to taking over.
