THE CAPILANO College Blues
men’s soccer squad bounced back
from close losses earlier in the
week to win its first league game
6-0 over Selkirk Coilege.

With the losses behind them, the
Blues shut out the opposition, with
players Jason Bermudez, Randy
Celebrini, Jason Charles and Rob
Ciccone scoring.

Sharing the shutout were Brad
Baker and Karim Tejani in goal.

“The new guys are great,”
coach Joe facobellis said of this
season’s team, a mix of veterans
and newcomers. ‘‘The team struc-
ture is very, very strong.

“We have a better team at-
mosphere, much better than last
year.’”
