THERE IS no doubt about it - Spring has
definitely sprung and we're all enjoying the
warmer weather. But why is it that some mornings
when we wake up and look in the mirror, it feels
like winter all over again?

from the Bay Hair Salon at
Park Royal took time out to
explain the five different
types of perms offered by
Glenby International.
Rodney pointed out that
there are several kinds of
perms depending on what
type of hair you have. It ts
important to first decide how
much curl you want and
whether you want a support
perm with looser or lots of
tighter, smaller curls. Then
you should consult with your
hairdresser in what kind of
perm would be best suited
for your type of hair. There
are three major kinds of
permanents: a gentler ‘soft’
perm for streaked or colored
hair, a perm for fine to
normal untreated hair, and a
stronger perm for normal to
highly resistant hair. Most
