soccer.

The North Shore pair have

for the past three years coordi-
nated the 400-player Millar’s

North Shore Soccer League,
and recently were awarded
Outstanding Administrator
Awards from the B.C. Soccer
Association for their efforts.
In addition to continuing the
high-calibre league started by
Keith Millar in 1977 after he
assed away in 1995, the duo
ave overseen a number of
division and cup winners.
They've also computerized

the Teague.

First. it was laminated
photo player IDs — which
BC Soccer plans to use in all
leagues.

And the next innovation,
according to Windross, it will
be an Internet presence. The
pair plan to incorporate player
registration and B.C. league
contacts on the Internet.

Bassam has also enjoyed

some recent on-fie ;
as his team. LEI}..won ‘the
league. playoffs as ‘Well as the:
Division 1 title.. LEI finished’
second in the  Provinci:
Recreation Cup (also
as the Keith Millar Cup). |.
