By Surj Rattan News Reporter Now Simon Terlinden, who at- tended Carson Graham Secondary school in North Vancouver, is about to produce another 5,000 copies of the book because of the increased demand for it. The book advises people what to do before, during and after an earthquake has struck. All three programs will be held at the Lucas Centre, 2132 Hamilton, and will run full _ days, Monday to Friday, for four weeks. The receptionist training, beginning Monday, Jan. 20, 9 a.m. to. 3:30 p.m. will help students upgrade their elec- tronic typing, communications and office skills. I went to the provincial government and brought the book to an earthquake specialist,’’ said Terlinden. ‘‘He said it was very well done and also made recom- mendations on how I could im- prove it.”” He also sent the book to earth- quake specialists in the United States. “Basically, I got the informa- tion from the library. There is in- formation on earthquakes out there right now but it’s only bits and pieces,"’ said Terlinden.
