his April 2 headline in defence of
Vander Zalm, Do principles hand-
icap a politician’s career?,

Please don’t try to claim that the :

government’s problem has any-
thing to do with principles unless
you mean a willingness to impose
personal moral beliefs on the ma-
jority.

And before credit is generously
dispensed for a balanced budget,
read the document.
