Dollarton Highway had its hopes
of adding rock crushing to its on-
site activities pulverised by North
Vancouver District Council! Mon-
day night.

Jim Wiles & Son Ltd. use
district land on the north side of
the 2300 block Doliarton Highway
for their soil screening, and sought
permission to crush aggregate and
concrete debris for recycling pur-
poses.

But two letters of complaint had
already been received by the
district about the noise levels from
