mittee chairman ‘Rob Bot-
terell had said Thursday that
residents most inconvenienc-
ed would be those who did
not normally commute and

Horseshoe Bay parking

available for $2 per day, and
150 free . parking spaces
across from the Glen Eagles

Golf course, Sewell’s Marina
is offering an extra 60 spaces
for $3 per day or $28 for the
two-week period.

$1.4M OVERHAUL .

Sewell’s manager, Ken
Northrup said Tuesday that
40 of the marina’s parking
spaces had been taken thus
far.

Street-side parking in
Horseshoe Bay is currently
restricted to three hours
from 7.4.m. to 7 p.m. seven
days per week.

Overhaul to the Bowen

Island dock will see the
present single-lane wooden
structure replaced with a
double-lane ramp. The old
wooden ramp is close to 40
years old.
