Spring

WEST VANCOUVER
School Kids who couldn't
clown around in school will
be encouraged to become
clowns during Spring Break
week.

With the theme ‘Come
Clown Around With Us”,
the West Vancouver Recre-
ation Centre has lined up a
four-day program to keep
youngsters active during the
school holiday. The program
runs April 1 to 4 with session
from 9 a.m. to noon or |
p.m. to4p.m.

The program for
youngsters six years and up
includes April Fool's Day
activities, a pool splash, a
circus day at which time they
will make clown outfits and
much, much more!

Included in the program
for those aged 3 to 5, are
games, crafts, stories, dress-
ing-up, and the opportunity
to clown aronnd indoors and
out!

The highlight of the four
day event will be a Thursday
afternoon performance by
‘*The Fool's Theatre
Troupe", a group of four
professional clowns, ages
nine to 40, who will open a
bag of tricks including in-
icycling, juggling, fire-
eating, mime and magic,
guaranteed to amuse
children, amaze adults and
make ‘willing fools’ of one
and all!
