Dear Editor: To those Canadians who plan— en voting. yes te accept this bum constitutional deal, consider this firs?. Suppose it were B.C. and not Quebec threatening to opt out of Canada. Or, in fact, any other province, ‘Would Mulroney then be calling all’ dissenters the ‘enemies of -Canada’’? Wo, for it would not matter one hoot in hell!.The feds don’t need any” province as they desperately need P.Q,! Conniving together for the benefit of one province while tellowing ‘‘concern’’ for Canada. A-master pair in hypocricy. And “rest of Canada” gives in! The Conservatives will probably pay the price of not being re- elected and we will pay the price as taxpayers with a far less op- timistic economic outlook as we head into. the next century. Some economists predict worldwide depression and this is not an unrealistic prediction. Ten years of games by the Con- servative party will cost us all. T.E. Peck Vancouver | DRAPERIES BY S.
