NORTH Shore resi-
dents are among Genie
Award nominees
announced Monday by
the Academy of
Canadian Cinema and
Television.

In Toronto this October, a
panel of 60 Alm industry pro-
fessionals judged a toral of 22
features, and 28 documentary
and short films chat were
entered into consideration for
the 19th annual Genie
Awards.
