Argyle also won the team title ar the first-ever B.C. Mountain Bike Championship atop Grouse Mountain. In soccer action, the Pipers won the provincial title with a convincing 3-0 win over tour- nament host and second- ranked Kamloops on Saturday. The victory gave the Pipers a remarkable 34-4-2 season record. Coached by Vince Alvano and Mike Yee, Argyle reached the final by going undefeated ' in their section with wins over Prince of Wales (7-0), South Delta (4-0) and Carihi (2-1), then disposing Centennial 3-0 in the semis. Rosalyn Hicks was named the tournament’s MVP. Hicks scored cight goals, including four against Prince of Wales, two in the semis and onz in the final. First all-stars wert.
