at Inglewood Lodge. She was born
November 11, 1907 in Winnipeg.
Manitoba. She spent many years in
Geraldton, Ontario before coming to
Vancouver 19 years ago. Predeceased by
her husband Ovni (Nibs) Saker. Leaves
to remember, her devoted sister Grace
Shell of West Vancouver; her only
daughter Sue Rich of Everett,
Washington and son-in-law Donn: loving
grandchildren Christopher and Terry
Story of Everett, Danny Story of Fort
Worth Dallas, Texas, Carolyn Story
(Puckett) cf Danville. Virginia; two
great-grandchildren, Brittany daughter of
Danny. Daniel daughter of Christopher;
two nieces and one nephew. A memorial
service to be held on Saturday, January
26 at 3pm at St. David's United Church,
Taylor Way, West Vancouver. Flowers
gratefully declined in favor of donations
to the Cancer Society. A special thanks
to the staff of inglewood Lodge and to
the staff of Lynn Valley Kiwanis tor their
loving care, also the Memorial Society of
B.C. for their services.

January 22, 1991 at Lions Gate Hospital
at age 73. Predeceased by her first
husband Mervyn. Survived by husband
Kenneth: son Sohn (Susan); grandchil-
dren, Erin, David end Alexander; four
brothers, Edward. George (Pat), Bernard
(Bel!) and Arthur (Kay); one sister-in-law
Mary Schmidt. Dorothy was born in
Herschel, Saskatchewan on August 16,
1917. Memorial service to be held on
Monday, January 28 at 2pm at St Paul's
Anglican Church, 1130 Jervis St, Van-
couver. in lieu of flowers donations t6
Lions Gate Hospita! appreciated. Dorothy
was 2 long time resident of West Van-
couver. She was a Registered Nurse, a
graduate of St. Boniface Schoo! of Nurs-
ing in Winnipeg and was an officer in
the Royal Canadian Army during the Se-
cond World War. Dorothy witl be sadly
missed by ail her friends and family in-
cluding Duff, Sandee, Chris (Sandy),
Greg and Kim Schmidt. Arrangements

GROVE ~ Edna Frances (nee Edwards)
peacefully at Kiwanis Care Home, Gib-
sons, 8C, on january 23, 1991. Born in
Toronto, Ontario in 1899. Predeceased
by husband Willis and daughter Audrey
Nygard of North Vancouver. Survived by
loving sister Dorothy and husband At
Sharpe of Madoc, Ontario, son Edward
and wife Pat of Victoria; daughters Mary
McEwan and husband Jim cf Gibsons
and Caza) Williamsan of Olympia,
Washington; grandmother to John and
Janet Grove of Victoria and Cheryl and
jim McEwan of Gibsons. Kirsten and
Debra Williamson of Olympia, Bart
Nygard of North Vancouver and Carrie
Nygard of Vancouver; great-grandmother
to Tas, Shawna and Freddie of Gibsons.
A memorial service will be held at 2pm
on Saturday, January 26 in the Boa!
Chapel of First Memorial Funeral Ser-
vices, 1505 Lillooet Road, North Van-
