NORTH Vancouver District Council recently
decided to ban outdoor burning of garden
refuse, which has previosly been allowed to
take place on weekends during the menths of
April and October. North Vancouver City and
West Vancouver District stil allow April and
October burning. Today’s question is:

Should municipalities
ban outdoor burning?

I think it’s a bad thing. |
think people should be
allowed to burn material.
Don’t get enough out of
that to amount to a hill
of beans. It would cost a
fortune to pack the gar-

producing field west of Ver-
dun, Manitoba.

That company’s stock is
currently trading at $1.25
per share on the Vancouver
Stock Exchange.

Webber also owns North
