Monique Jutras, singer and Gilles Losier, fiddler, will be performing in a free concert/workshop at 12:30 p.m. in the Studio Theatre (R building) and the public is ~ welcome to attend. Monique Jutras studied piano, guitar, and classical voice in Montreal, and since 1976 she has been collecting and performing traditional music of Quebecois and French origins. She has found and accumulated more than 500 songs from books, archives, and on field trips around Quebec, and has taken them on extensive tours through Quebec and Europe.
