for Dietary/Medical
reasons. Camp Kakhamela
on Cowichan Lake is a very
special camp, as il serves as
a climc and school, where
children between the ages of
8-16 are taught management
and control of their disease

by a staff of nurses and
doctors. All this in addition
to a regular full camp
program makes for a happy

summer holiday!
To help in the fight against
diabetes and to allow

diabetic children to attend
summer camp, cyclists are
encouraged to. challenge
friends, relations and
business colleagues to ride

and to get as many pledges
as possible for the 10-20-30
kilometre routes, in doing so
you qualify for some of the
outstanding prizes.
