It. seems ‘that I have my
troubles lately with all kinds
of officials. I'm still not
going to “accept Smiling
Grace’s attempts at
eradicating child abuse in
British. Columbia.

Irrespective of how ‘noble
her ideas are and how many
children are abused, not
necessarily only by their
parents but by many others
in many forms, there is no
way. that I will ever accept
her method of anonymous
telephone calls. .

‘In the middle‘of the 1930's
Hitler in Germany came out
with a similar scheme. If you
didn’t like one of your
neighbours you could report
him to the Gestapo without

whole story of Anne Frank
would never have existed
had it not been for an
anoymous telephone call to
the Gestapo about her

this to happen in British
