WEST VANCOUVER
municipal staff likes the idea
of providing its park facilities
for the 1991 Pan-American
Games but aldermen are a lit-
tle more cautious.

While the municipality has
voiced approval in principle
for a Vancouver bid for 1991
Pan-Am Games, council
balked Monday at commit-
ung itself any further just
yet.

Despite an enthusiastic
staff report recommending
that council offer the use of
West Vancouver sports
